‘LOAD’ is a slithery, semi-autobiographical tale of sexual reinvention via New York cruising grounds, Manchester A&E wards and London bedrooms. Combining movement, spoken word and digital voice manipulation, masculinity gets a shove down the rabbit hole of its own behind, revelling in a Wonderland of possibilities at the bottom.

About the event

This performance is supported with life drawing materials and is lead by an instructor.  It last between 45 minutes and 120 minutes, with the addition of a collective evaluation for the audience to reflect individually and to make sense of their experiences in the form of a collective.

You can host us. Our requirements are that the public/employees must be informed about nudity before entering the performance workshop. A minimum space of 5m x 5m will be required.

All drawings created are yours to keep and can be donated to the Bareback Museum. We also create temporary exhibitions as part of our LGBTQ awareness programme and these drawings can be exhibited amongst artist working within queer methodologies at your site.
